DEIMOS

He nodded at the information shared; glad she’d received it somewhere. “Yes.” So while her shifts may not be able to employ or utilize any of those incantations (unless she’d gained some mythical designation already), she could find some allies, or at least items christened by heralds, to do the same. “If you have time, you might be able to find some weapons or items using those elements.” If she didn’t want to bother others – he certainly wasn’t volunteering himself to go directly into battles for another region – not when he had to guard his.

Not being an obvious target and ire of the Family while rallying her people simultaneously sounded like a difficult effort; hence the advice on more covert operations where she could. Perhaps it came from his own experiences with political machinations – the less seen and heard, the better – that way one’s enemy didn’t have a proper opportunity or chance to annihilate everything before it could come to fruition. Or plan a counter-assault as one blistered into their corner.

But he relinquished another nod just the same; she’d have to figure out what would work best for her. A potent and rough lesson that hopefully everyone on her side survived. “All right. Do you need anything else?”

SOHALIA
But you're untouchable, burning brighter than the sun
"That's a good idea," she agreed, already contemplating what she might be able to do. At least she'd managed to complete Frey's quest - she would feel less guilty about asking for the gods' help since she'd finished the first list of tasks they had set for her. But she could consider ideas of what she might ask for another time, for she'd spent long enough interrupting Deimos.

"No, thank you. I appreciate your time, Deimos," Sohalia responded, shaken from her thoughts by the man's question. "I hope that next time we meet, I will have good news." In other words, she hoped very much that she wasn't dead.

Bidding the Sword goodbye, Soh turned and clambered back across the sands, heading back to the Citadel and the skyship that would take her home.
