-Zavien-
Sol was both happy and sad to see that his 'intimidating' demeanor hadn't actually done any damage. However, as Boreal's soft croon sounded, he let the worry vanish, choosing to copy her and roll onto his back in the snow (imitation, flattery, etc). His wings splayed against the cold ground, their translucent golden membranes making the new snowflakes stand out as they floated down. He let out a playful rumble as his vision of the white dragon flipped, making it look like she was sticking to the top of the sky. It was the simple things that brought Sol joy, and he wiggled his feet in the air.
Raising his glass of cider to the decision, Zavien's words still rumbled with laughter. "Perfect! I know Lena would love to, so feel free to send me a letter when you hear." It was almost comical to think about planning dates rather than scheming coups, but he absolutely preferred it, relishing in the warmth of friendship and good food.
Perhaps because of that, or just the overall empathy, Zavien was content to let the topic of marriage dissipate. He tilted his head, considering the next question. "I'm assuming so. I haven't asked her yet, but we've been going to most of the festivals and events together." Although originally shy about their relationship, they hadn't necessarily hidden it from anyone. And he liked having excuses to go places with her. It almost felt wrong not to, like he was missing something. He took a bite of steaming cinnamon apple before pushing the ball back into Tal's court, "Are you and Alys going together?"

Life is getting up one more time
than you've been knocked down.
