Character of the Season
Once known as the Butcher of Whitebrim, he's now The Butcher of Dygra, stepping forward as the first created demigod of the Ancients. There is no question that Astaroth casts an intimidating silhouette. Tall, domineering and dangerous, if looks could kill you'd be dead already, but to get up close and personal with the Grounds' resident cannibal tells a much different story. Dripping with charm and clad in only the finest attire, Asta is a gentleman monster, as polite as they come and committed to his role as security for the Dusklight and those who have earned his loyalty. Be careful of that smile, though - those teeth are sharp.
Congratulations, Asta!

She didn’t make any snarky comments like “oh my gods look we’re back at the Greatwood again who would’ve thought’, but her facial expressions said just as much. At least it was the Observatory, and there was a wondrous beauty in the angles and views as it approached evening; the sun’s beacon slowly lowering in the springtime sky.
Something petty in her eyed the Safrin shrine, but knowing Vi was a better candidate, she left some portions of starlit nonsense and trinkets she’d found in the Sidhe Village, and considered that good. Dusting her hands off and leaving them at the altar, she poked her head around the scattered bits of candles, lights, and offerings, seeing if any of those damned roses was lingering in its threshold.
When that aspired to nothing, she maneuvered her way around the rope ladder, glancing back at her uncle. “All right, well, any more news from the latest shitstorms?”

Sunjata very much avoids the Safrin shrine, and very obviously glares at it while Melita offers her trinkets and returns – figuring it was better for him to keep his distance if her offerings were to be considered. “Nothing yet. Debating on whether to take a break and visit Frey’s Breath before I inevitably end up back here again.” Sunjata drawls with a groan, rubbing at his temples before he shakes his arms out.
Specifically to get the feeling of Safrin out from his bones again, dreading each time he has to be close to one of her shrines. “You heard anything?” He asks, glancing over at her as they start the search again for anything poking up out of the ground at the base of the trees.

Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
“Gods no,” she offered, then shrugged. “Maea sent me a letter though. She wanted to talk about something.” She rolled her eyes in a dramatic fashion, leaving him to wonder over what the peculiarities had been – as she’d refused. She hadn’t lied when she said she’d been busy; the Ark had claimed the Greatwood for this season, and she was in no mood to entertain whatever the Ancient wanted this time. One would think she’d take a hint. The Honeybee had been carefully neutral during the hide and seek game.
Walking further away from the shrine and strolling around the lower portion of the Observatory, she observed stairs and ladders, rooting around the various trees, striving to decipher any petals out of the normal weeds and vegetation.

The mention of Maea immediately captures Sunjata’s attention – gaze flitting toward her with his brows lifted, confusion flaring. “Any clue what about?” He asks, using that as a boon to focus on rather than the shrine in the distance that they are blessedly drifting away from. For now, though, he trails after her, keeping his gaze on her and peeled toward the rest of the observatory, unsure if anything would pop up or not but he doesn’t want to miss it if it does.
“I saw her in King’s End a while ago.” Before he was healed, and she had been asking for advice about something and they’d trained. He’d utilized his water magic and focused on trying to make that stronger – something he thinks he should probably look into with the plans to go back to Starfall. It couldn’t hurt to be more prepared.

“Nope,” she emphasized with a pop on the p. In actuality, the Honeybee had a few guesses, but most were focused on discerning probable reasons on to why she shot Maea, and quite frankly, if the Ancient hadn’t figured out about being an obnoxious shit had earned her multiple enemies, then that wasn’t the Honeybee’s problem. “And I don’t care, really.” The Ancient wasn’t worth her time – as she’d clearly demonstrated.
Though she arched a brow as she continued roaming along her inspection of the place. “That’s unfortunate. Did she try to pin you down for something again?” All that maudlin bullshit?
Before he can answer though, she huffed, rolling her eyes. “Nothing here. Want to head somewhere else?” Then they could bitch away their meandering ventures.
