Greetings
Ronin,
Hello there, it's been a while! I hope this letter finds you in good health. It's hard to define what makes you 'well' at times, isn't it? Either the body struggles, or the mind does, and in the rare instances where there are no personal issues to note, those around us have their own concerns that require attention.
I'm so sorry for the loss you have experienced. Words always seem insufficient in times like these, but still I hope that you still find life worth living and receive all the support and comfort you need in the people in your life. For lack of better words - how are you? Do you need anything?
For my own part I can say that I'm quite well. Enough to start being honest with myself, which has led to some uncomfortable realizations. Not only do I have much to apologise and make up for in how I have treated others, but I also need to start showing up for myself, and make good on all the promises of change I've been making.
The Greatwood has been good to me, while I get my head sorted out. The forest soothes something jagged in me, and I've been making new friends. Will you thank Remi for his generous gift for me? The Guadian's Treehouse is lovely and just what I needed; I hope to host a small get-together with friends sometime this season. You're both invited!
Part of this quest towards change I've set for myself is keeping in touch with my friends. So if it's alright with you, can I keep writing every once in a while? I'd very much appreciate a chance to get to know you better.
