DEIMOS
the fire can't touch me
for I have burned too many times
for I have burned too many times
Deimos snorted; having concocted his own walls of fire on multiple occasions, he didn’t see a portal to hell. Rather, a recollection, as one might greet an old friend, with a slight half-smile chiseled on his features and all the machinations and control in his veins. Within a breath, the shield pressed toward him, and he snagged at its tethers and lines, and once it slipped within his range, stopped it in its tracks. But he left it up as a source of admiration and fondness, amusement kindled in the source, before minimizing it entirely, letting it dissipate back into the ether. “Very nice,” he noted, glancing upward at the sky, the change in the sun’s direction. “And thank you for the entertainment and training.” A test and measure of skills, of how far one might be able to push – and then for more.
“I am going to head back and see if Kiada is ready, but let me know if you ever want to spar again.” He could utilize the practice, and as he’d said before, the Ancient always seemed eager for it anyway.

[FIN]
the sea can't harm me
for I have been drowning all my life
for I have been drowning all my life
