Character of the Season
Once known as the Butcher of Whitebrim, he's now The Butcher of Dygra, stepping forward as the first created demigod of the Ancients. There is no question that Astaroth casts an intimidating silhouette. Tall, domineering and dangerous, if looks could kill you'd be dead already, but to get up close and personal with the Grounds' resident cannibal tells a much different story. Dripping with charm and clad in only the finest attire, Asta is a gentleman monster, as polite as they come and committed to his role as security for the Dusklight and those who have earned his loyalty. Be careful of that smile, though - those teeth are sharp.

You're too kind, but thank you, I appreciate the sentiments and the bottled celebration. Still chilled even, so give my regards, and my contact information, to whoever handles your shipping. Would have written back sooner, but I spent Longnight in King's End and didn't expect the work to pile up so quickly. As yet I haven't deputized anyone for my absences, which clearly needs to change.
I'm not too proud to accept an offer when we're in need. If you're willing, we could do with some extra soldiers. I see from Melita's letter you're up to speed on the caravan monster we had here, but even without more nightmares like that, this place is barely tame and the added security would go far. I'd be grateful.
Might too late for Hotshot, but I'm definitely keeping that in my back pocket, a new town comes with a lot of naming opportunities.
