Dare we know the halo's hanging low
Deimos hid the sudden bout of laughter threatening to rise through his chest – amused with the way none of them seemed to have noticed the brief interval of the tower. Not until now; making their reactions all the more humorous to him. Plans were made and hashed out, which was still more than he could say for the far-experienced crowd sometimes. Like a breath of fresh air, they opted and decided on the formality of things, what could work, what might not, and proceeded onward.
@Amhran’ s height gave them a mighty advantage over the situation, and he stood strong and tall, granting Catalina the ability to stretch upwards, and potentially snag the infant right then and there, especially with Elizabeth ’s incantations.
Well, almost.
While the telekinesis was a great notion, it still didn’t correspond to what it could’ve been (
So even as the infant slipped downward,
“Well done,” the Sword rumbled. “Plans can come to fruition in different ways.” Amused, he permitted the remaining elements to come crashing back to the cold, frozen earth, as if nothing had been there in the first place. “You all proved you were quite capable of working as a team. Perhaps you could show some others a thing or two.” Hopefully, they’d be able to take what they learned today into future enterprises and necessities; for there was always something in Caido.
And from there, they’d be able to finally relax, and have some respite from Deimos’ antics with a few provided snacks and hot cocoa.
