Flora climbed the winding staircase of the lighthouse, her steps light but deliberate. When last she'd ventured up these stairs, her heart had been shattered, or at least she'd thought it had. But today, things were different; her heart, while still uncertain of the future, was whole. That, and she wasn't a sobbing mess.

Clutched carefully in her hands Flora brought a small, hand-crafted glass sphere, delicately filled with crushed seashells and iridescent sea glass that caught the light with a shimmer like the night sky. Kneeling beside the altar, the queen lit a few candles before carefully placing the glass sphere upon it. The sea glass inside reflected the late afternoon light, sending small shards of green, blue, and white across the stone, almost like stars dancing across the surface.

"Hey Safrin. I did the things you asked. Sorry about the drama last time."

The candles burn brighter as Safrin appears, the accompanying scent of lilac and ozone sweeping through the upper level of the lighthouse. "We all have our bad days, mmm?" Reaching for the small sphere of sea glass, the goddess considers it for a moment before tossing it casually into the air where it shatters and freezes; the minute pieces spreading out like small stars, before rising toward the ceiling and embedding themselves in the stone.

"Nice to see how things have turned around.." For all her love of drama, Safrin isn't displeased by the pairing of Torchline's queen and one of her most useful followers, not least of all because of the pain it must surely cause Flora's parents.

"And a ring made by Deimos. Beautiful." So saying the goddess reaches forward and as her fingers press against the ring, it glows ozone-blue for a moment before dulling.

Tilting her head at the brightening of the candles, Flora twists around in time to see Safrin appear. "Well, it keeps things interesting if nothing else." She agrees, her smile entirely crooked as she watches her offering rise and shatter before being transformed into part of the shrine itself.

"Mmm, I thought so too. He's actually a super interesting guy." Said almost as if it was a surprise, it was only the fact that Deimos came across like such a terrifying grizzly bear that made his personality a welcome thing for the queen to have stumble upon.

Rising, the ring glowing softly, Flora tucks it back onto her finger. "Thanks. I know you know why I wanted it, but...I mean obviously, I won't be telling people." It was to protect her mind against the Family, if anyone asked.

"Anyway, thanks Safrin." For putting up with her drama, for forgiving her lack of an offering, for not making a thing of it.
