Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.
Congratulations, Niki!

Sah grimaced as Gala found the green flag. He couldn't let them her and Elizabeth keep it. Reaching through the bond, he found any canines in the area and called them over, pouring mischief into their thoughts and asking them to steal the flag and run off with it. He couldn't direct them to go to the blue base, but as long as the flag wasn't going to any of the bases, that was fine. Oh, maybe he could have them fetch it for their human? He'd try that.
Meanwhile, he hoped that Frederick would help him in distracting the two red players. He hadn't heard anything from Stephaie, so that had to be good, right?

Sah calls any canines nearby to take the green flag form Gala and bring it to their human.
NPC movement;
Frederick to distract Elizabeth and Gala by trying to buy bread.
Stephanie to get the blue flag back!
Take a step back, evaluate what is important, and enjoy life.
Distracted by her divided attention, Elizabeth jumped at Gala's exclamation. She spun to spot the woman with the flag clutched in her hands. Grinning, she resisted the urge to hug her; they weren't done yet. "Oh my gosh. You're amazing! If we win this thing, I'm buying you dinner." Gods knew she deserved it.
Helping her teammate out of the snow, she saw the end in sight, their base waiting for them up ahead. Elizabeth urged Gala forward, keeping her eyes peeled for danger. She was willing to alternate the flag carrier in order to distract or share the burden, whatever it took to get it safely within their territory.
Elizabeth tries to get the Green flag back to her base!
Requested NPC Movements: Gala to get the flag back to base. Emma to distract (maybe call the dogs with howls?).
The combination of efforts, strategies, and collaborations eventually declared a winner; amusing nonetheless.
While Elizabeth and Gala ran, the former sometimes tripping in the snow, and Emma calling to the rampaging dogs suddenly careening from around the area, it wouldn’t be enough. As Gala crossed into their base, they’d realize the cheers starting up were for another – because that team had simply been a little bit faster.
The Blue Team tried with all their might. It truly would’ve been a come from behind sort of finish, if the dogs had been more than just dorky hounds, searching for anything they could slobber upon, if Stephanie had been more accurate as she strived to dive for Daniel.
But in the end, none of it mattered – not as Daniel crossed into the Green Base, and solidified the win for his team.
The soldier screamed out and shouted, holding the flag high and aloft.
Snickering and shaking his head with amusement, Deimos rumbled the necessary accords through the area. “Congratulations to the Green Team!” There were some modest claps and loud rounds of applause, depending on who was orchestrating them, but certainly a job well done. The Sword stepped forward to award them some very amusing handmade medals, permitting them to take a few victorious laps around the makeshift threshold if they were so inclined. Why not a raucous celebration?
And hopefully, they’d learned a few things along the way.
