Greetings, my frosty little ice-skippers of Caido! Vox here, voice of the Family, bearer of good tidings—or not-so-good tidings, I suppose.

I’m sure you remember my polite request that you not cleanse the Tundra. You know, to keep all that lovely void energy right where it belonged? Well, imagine my surprise when I discovered that Sohalia, Melita, Zavien, and Alys went gallivanting through the snow anyway! Two ran, one died, and somehow they still managed to scrub it all squeaky clean. I’m, quite frankly, a bit heartbroken! It’s like watching someone yank the stuffing out of a perfectly good plush toy.

Sohalia, my dear—have you truly forgotten all you learned during your time spent with the Family? And Melita, did Flora’s unfortunate demise teach you nothing? Tsk, tsk. You’ve both cut deep into my multiple hearts.

Now, I don’t want to point fingers (or tentacles), but Dorian is going to be absolutely furious, and I really don’t want you to be mad at me when the consequences come knocking. I’m just the messenger, after all—the friendly, charming, always-smiling messenger who definitely wants to remain on your good side. Is that too much to ask?

So, my chilly companions, keep your eyes open for, uh, repercussions from your tundra spring-cleaning. But do remember: I still like you, no matter how vigorously you’ve scrubbed away the Family’s delightful influence. Really, I do.
