"I've got some, but it could probably use some upgrading," Koa admits with a grimace, rubbing a hand over his chest self-consciously. The scale shirt would offer minimal protection in real combat; he ought to go back to Ludo to get it upgraded, but that will be a problem for a later time.
For now there are plans to make, and an invitation Koa can't refuse. "Oh, definitely," the boy replies, eyebrows raising eagerly and eyes lighting up. Between this and the overall vibe of the meeting, he's honestly feeling pretty great. No longer being hated by one of his heroes is an absolute win in Koa's book, one he isn't keen to squander again. "Just say the word and we'll be there." He glances at Pip, still deeply invested in her playtime with Erebos. "And if you ever need childcare, I think the worm wouldn't say no to another playdate sometime soon."
The rest of the afternoon passes much the same, with additional sledding and discussion and snacks. When the time comes to leave Koa feels lighter, more focused and honed than he had before. Finally his life is regaining direction; a welcome respite from a season spent largely adrift.
