Arriving home, Sah took a deep breath before unlocking the door and walking in. He leaned on the railing of the stairs, calling up, "Soleil, Luka. Would you two please meet me in the kitchen?"
Walking towards the kitchen table, the Wild Thunder placed his bag down. Reverently, he took out two cloth bundles, unwrapping them to reveal a set of gold sun pendant necklaces and a set of silver wind-themed rings. Donning one of each, he placed their other halves on the table. Each was set out in front of the chair its assigned twin usually took. The necklace for Soleil and the ring for Luka.
Taking a seat, Sah waited for his pups. As they arrived, he gestured to the blessed items. "These are for you two. Safrin helped me to craft them."
Letting them get settled and inspect the items, he explained their purpose. "They're connected to these." He gestured to the matching amulets on himself. "If the button on them is pressed, it teleports the holder to whoever has the other half." Sah smiled sadly, "They're one use only, but we can create permanent ones in the future." With the threat of the Family ever-increasing, the Wild Thunder had decided that the insurance of fully powered, one-use items was more critical than starting the slow process of creating permanent ones. (2 quests versus 6).
