Iskra
BREATHE IT IN, IT'S JUST SNOW, WE'RE JUST FALLING
WE WON'T ALWAYS FREE FALL BACK TO NOTHING
A shame that Elizabeth didn't know Goose regularly pulled Iskra out of bars each not, to save her the trouble of all her regrets and worries. Iskra did not use the term 'best friend' with Goose lightly. The dog was assuredly responsible for his continued breath.WE WON'T ALWAYS FREE FALL BACK TO NOTHING
At the mention of his name Goose gave a low woof, distracted by her, and hating it, because his eyes were still tracking Iskra, trying desperately to communicate his desires to leave. Iskra started to slide away from the table, and Goose gave another awoo woo in celebration, head thrown back and front paws tapping eagerly. He snorted then and shook his head, taking the time to dip under the table and rub against Elizabeth's fingers for some departing pets. Hard earned for all his sentinel duties. Iskra smiled at the pair, leaning over to grab his pack from the original seat he'd claimed before she'd come in. It felt like a lifetime ago, but likely only an hour or two had passed. He had a lot to mull over tonight as well.
"Agreed—don't forget, I'm gonna need those books!" he smiled and lifted a hand in a farewell as he turned and walked towards the door. Goose parted with a lick at her hand before he trotted after the woodcutter, nearly tripping him in the process.
