Grinning, he gave a consenting nod of his head. "A little bowl." Then he accepted it, propped his hips against the counter to enjoy the meal. He watched her closely, waiting for her to serve her own food before daring to indulge. Meanwhile, he listened and laughed, shaking his head at her answer.
She was more than a little right. Koa would never let him get to that point, and he was fairly certain people were going to wonder what his desk was even for when they rarely saw him there. Still, he hummed, considering her with playful scrutiny. "Mmm. Probably not, but you didn't answer the question."
He leaned in, smirking as he decided to answer it for himself. "I know I'd still like you if you were fat, old, maimed, or any other combination of changes. As long as you're still just as kind and caring - as long as you're still you - my feelings won't change." There wasn't any expectance for her to return the sentiment, but he hung close, curious if she'd balk as much as when he'd said those three little words, or if that pretty blush would appear back on her cheeks, sweeter than the smell of hot chocolate on her lips.
