After adventures with banshees, Melita had practically bounded, skipped, and taken her skyship back home, thoughts of potential waywardly and haphazardly circumventing her brain. By the time she’d drifted away from the Firecracker, snagged at her companions, and gone through the market square, she’d had most of her ideas conformed to singularity – a little bridge amidst the chaos. To more bedlam, admittedly.

Hence why she’d started explaining nearly mid-thought, as if the raggedy god had already heard her prior mutterings. “Hey Ludo, so I was thinking…,” which could’ve been a disastrous notion entirely on its own. “I have cannons for my ship, but what if I had some I could just shoot from anywhere,” so uttered with glorious, mayhem-embedded intent as she placed her offerings along the shrine; some sweet rolls, lemon drops, and caramels embedded with peanuts and chocolate nestled amidst the skulls’ mouths, along with toy cannons and soldiers, already pre-loaded with miniature spray for full effect. “That would be pretty badass, huh?” A grin followed, along with a second volley of toys – placing some tiny cat plushies in designs with Ludo in mind (some wearing rags and its mask, others using a skateboard, sipping hot chocolate, and stuffing toffees into its robes).

ludo Braved the forests, braved the stone Braved the icy winds and fire Braved and beat them on my own "What if you could shoot them from anywhere," Ludo chimes with all the mischief of a child, and it is, of course, the child version of itself that Melita is greeted to as it clambers around the statue and down to the boardwalk. "That's a fun idea, I like that very much," it confirms, plonking itself down amid the abundance - and it really is an abundance - of offerings. Cramming sweets into the pockets of its rags and stuffing a roll into its mouth with blackened fingers, it hums thoughtfully as it chews. "'Course, you'll have to get used to blowing stuff up all by yourself," it says, before waggling its eyebrows at her. "I trust that won't be a problem, though. Alright, here's what we're gonna do so you can dazzle everyone with cannons..." 1. Complete a thread making something explode without using magic.  2. Complete a thread making confetti using anything BUT paper. 3. Using the confetti in thread 2. throw a surprise celebration for someone! (Shouting SURPRISE! is mandatory). 4. Complete a thread performing a cannonball off a diving board and into a pool.

Utterly delighted by the herald’s approval, she stepped back a smidgen so it could relish all the goodies. “I’d be okay with that,” she winked, watching in rapt fascination as things disappeared into rags – and listening all the while to the newfound tasks. Explosions, confetti but not paper (would require some thought, and given the one thereafter she mentally crossed out the prospect of thrown and falling knives), and the subsequent cannonball notation made her grin widen. “These are fantastic. I’ll get right on it!”

Before she left, she pressed one of the cannon buttons on the toys and listened to the miniature explosion (of..well, paper), and winked in the child aspect of Ludo’s direction. “I won’t let you down!” came on a firm salute, before the Honeybee was off again, the potential for grandiose power and foolishness at her fingertips once more.
