With how her last visit to a shrine ending in a very embarrassing exit (that was luckily unwitnessed by any sentient being), Thal wasn't inclined to visit the cavern by the Black Lake. She swore she could still feel those little demons crawling on her hands. At least the Temple should hopefully be upkept enough to avoid any such unwanted visitors, although she still wouldn't put it past a nasty spirit or two.
When she doesn't spot any people - or eight-legged monstrosities - Thal makes her way to the familiar stone at the center of the vast chamber, her steps echoing in the space. The mark of bloody handprints gives the space a coppery tang, the coating turning the dark stone to a deep, dull red. Her hands don't hesitate to pull her obsidian daggers from her hip, slicing into her palm to add her fresh blood to the old prints.
She holds her hand there and tries to dispel the hint of nerves with a deep sigh before she calls out to the goddess. "Lady Dygra, I don't feel like I've had much luck catching your attention lately, but if you have a moment, I'd like to ask again for my daggers to be enhanced, to be able to call them back to me in the heat of battle." Despite her desires, and what she's been asking after for months, there's also a low undertone of softness, of having nearly forgotten what it's like to be in the presence of the goddess. Thal dips her head, a quiet whisper too gentle to catch the echo escaping her lips. "Or even just to hear your voice..."
