Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.
Congratulations, Niki!

Can I ask for a teeeeeeeeeeeeensy favour? I hear there might be an opportunity to do a bit of gambling at this pool party coming up, and I could really use some luck so I can win big. Any chance I can borrow those wraps of yours? I promise not to get them wet, and I'll even take them immediately back to Halo right after I go all in.
Oh! And if there's any winnings left over, I'll give them to you.
I am not much of a gambling man, and I hate to think if things go awry, that these gloves would end up in the wrong hands, especially Pierce’s, given how he already has one relic.
I intended to go to the pool party as well – dare I ask what the attempt will be this time?
And while I cannot grant the gloves, I would be perfectly willing to make you an item to enhance your fortune.
Oh, are we not doing secret language anymore? Cool, that's way easier.
Unlike when Ronin was stolen from, I won't be alone (ya'll will all be there), aaaaaaaaaaand, I can teleport away, which means even if Pierce puts up his magic-cancelling barrier, I can still fuck off and make sure your gloves stay safe.
It is not a lack of trust in you, or your abilities, but of our mutual enemy. And given my experience, it only takes one moment to go wrong. My answer remains the same – and my offer still stands on creating you another item that will boost your luck.
Oh! Do you want to do it? You're way faster than I am anyway. I could give you my daggers--they recall right back into your hand--and my compass if you want so you can just disappear back to Halo after??
Step 1. Look unassumingly hot. Buy outfit to hide daggers
Step 2. Channel for a distraction
Step 3. Dagger time. If I'm invisible AND there's a distraction I figure I can get two daggers off and recall them, even Pierce starts freaking out.
Step 4. Compass the hell out.
Pierce's abilities only nullify magic from what Jack and I could see when we were, y'know, MURDERED.
Honestly, initially all of this started with me wanting to just punch him in the face, but then I thought if he was going to make us all hang out with him, why not get something for our regions in the process?
Anyways, happy to give you my ring and daggers since you're faster than me anyway. You'll have to find your own bikini tho
YOU'RE THE BEST. Should we make up some signal so that I can channel?
