yet my blood renders me a King
Sah eyed his friend with concern, beginning to draw on his healing magic just as he felt Hadama's come into effect. Easing up, he turned his focus to the scared teenager behind him. "Venna?" He didn't ask Ravenna if she was okay. It was clear that she was far from it. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, "Is there anything that I can do?"

From the corner of his eye, he noted Zen's use of gravity magic. But the action slipped his attention in a mere heartbeat as he kept his focus on the weaver. Instinct made Sah want to pull her into a hug, but he was still a practical stranger and didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

Ravenna was not the only one who had a change of heart once the hands-on portion of the gathering came around. Some citizens were eager to get a little revenge on some Void creatures that were safely under controlled conditions and they stepped forward with weapons at the ready to stab and slash at the invaders, but others faded back. Worried, afraid, or simply repelled by the violence, they made their way to the edges of the gathering or left early.

Hadama studied Zenith's technique and the manifestation of his power in thoughtful silence as the arrow appeared and was released. The spider that he had chosen as his target was struck and subsequently pulped without time for it to so much as chitter its dying outrage. Others were similarly successful, though Hadama did step in once when a spider charged a woman with a spear and dodged her strike.

Soon enough, however, the Void flora and fauna were dealt with and none remained alive to threaten the residents of the Hollowed Grounds. The Tidebreaker nodded in satisfaction as the group dispersed, some chatting excitedly about their newfound courage and plans for new items now that they were armed with the knowledge of how best to hurt the Void.

He turned back to Ravenna, but seeing that Sah was tending to her he stayed back to give her time with her fellow Halovian. "I will clean up," he rumbled to those few who remained. "You may leave, if you wish." Or not, if they wanted to remain to help, or simply to talk to each other beneath the shadow of the Spire.
