ISKRA
Low chuckles of agreement rise in response to Zavien's claims of losing feeling in his legs and being able to keep Iskra busy. Each one earns a sip through the smile, until he's drained the last of his drink by the time the Commander offers up some of his dating experience. Iskra doesn't claim to be a pro, not with knowing everything in the world and what would be best to visit, and definitely not with dating girls. Mel has been the first, the only. It's both terrifying and exciting, wishing no desire to fuck it up and lose her, but eager to see new prospects of where they could go together. It's all perhaps a touch easier than it should be, given their history, the natural comfort with her, the way she has picked him up out of darkness so surely how scary can a date be?

He listens in earnest though, because facing her as a friend and as an ally in a battle have all proven much easier than the fumbling process of becoming her boyfriend. He isn't even sure they've defined it like that, although he doesn't have very many concerns that it's something different. Might be something good to sketch out with her though, one of these days. "Oh the Observatory," Iskra muses, not having been there personally but knowing of it with his trips to the Greatwood. "Could definitely be a good one to consider." He beams the other man a grateful smile, though shakes his head shortly thereafter at the Celestine. "Not sure the zoo is much her cup of tea," he explains, "but I appreciate the suggestions."

The parting comment though, is one Iskra can agree with whole-heartedly, and he laughs along with it, full of easy joy. "I think you're right on the money there." He leans onto his hand for a moment, gaze becoming a touch distant, dreamy with thoughts of her and where all they might be able to go. "Well," he says with a drawl, sitting back straight with a blink. "I think that's it for me for the night, but I'll be seeing you soon, Zavien." Scooching back from the stool and paying his tab, he claps the man's shoulder in departure as he heads to his room.
