Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.

The Palace was unpopular among them because of how gaudy it was--" There was, perhaps, a pointed glance towards Neron. "-So I was sure when designing the Council Hall to keep in touch with the surrounding architecture." Hopefully the greenhouse would be muted; obviously made of glass it would shine in the cold sun, but Morgan hoped Frey would be able to make it marry the buildings surrounding it.
As for Aino's suggestion, it certainly wasn't bad, but... "What would you suggest as an alternative?" There were already paths, but they cut through dangerous mountains and extreme weather. The sea that wasn't just ice was far out from the Citadel and any ship journeys would take a long time - there was a reason Halo had been isolated from the rest of the world.
