While she doesn't think Hotaru had the ability to strike two places at once with Diemos's aid, she couldn't discount that there could have been a third party she was unaware of.
Their conversation and attention shifts towards techniques that Maeve wishes to learn and the Madame is grateful for something else to focus on other than the mess that was currently Torchline. Maeve offers, not aversed to the portals as some of her counterparts were, but soon she'll be able to travel much more easily. All she has to do is finish this quest.
