"It's my version of something," Ronin says with a grin, allowing himself to be dragged closer as he winds his free arm back around Remi's shoulders and walks them back a few feet that they might not get in the way of the rest of the queue of people waiting for coffee. "Whatever it is, is it working? Are you thinking much about starting a war?" Or is Remi thinking of patches of grass warmed by the sun, of glimpses of golden skin streaked by shadow as he moves through the trees?
Grumbling something incomprensible thanks to the way he's blowing on his coffee, Ronin merely shrugs and decides the drink is still too hot, so Remi's lips will have to do instead. "Don't lie," he murmurs playfully into the kiss, "you love it when I'm at my most reasonable, don't you?"
