Ronin, who has done none of hid own mud-wallowing and bug-eating (except that one time with Remi but this is very different), thinks he is just the right amount of perturbed as the LeafChange goddess makes her entrance. Stepping back from the sunken hole in the ground and trying to school his expression into something that isn't nauseated from all of the wonderful sickly new smells, he raises his eyebrows between the Mathair and Mildew. Mildew's words aren't particularly encouraging, but he supposes that's all they've got right now. "I imagine I'd be kind of stringy," he mumbles, not because he's ever given it a thought or because it could be true, but just because he needs something to say. "A pleasure to meet you," he manages a moment later, as if remembering himself. "If you are still hungry, we could hunt more food for you along the way." Ronin tries not to throw up, tells the Mathair he'd probably be stringy if she tries to eat him, and offers to hunt her more food en route back to the Greatwood. RONIN Darkness is a funny thing.
