Adam knew what a trap looked like. Several spears aimed at your neck (and other, more worrying places) was a good sign. As soon as the fae appeared he sighed and rolled his eyes to the heavens, pissed off at himself for not guessing this was where this was going. He'd been made soft by his weeks here, where most people he'd met had been well intentioned.
