Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.
Congratulations, Niki!

Noah knew that, sometimes, when called for a duty the demigods did not always have a chance to gather up those they loved and bring them along. Cordelia was here in King's End staying with Deimos, while Noah moved across the world doing his best to fulfill what Vi wanted from him. He didn't want anything more, as his heart ached, than for the woman to be at his side. It was an interesting love they were developing, having rubbed shoulders in Halo for so long and not initiating anything. Perhaps that had been obliviousness on Noah's end, or perhaps it had been the presence of Weaver that drew other women away from Noah, even if the two had never shared romantic feelings for one another.
Sunjata answered Noah's question, and the Sentinel hummed his agreement. They couldn't help who they loved. There were some that Noah cared for deeply that chose to go to the Voice, but at the end of the day Noah knew he had to do what was right. The Voice was not that answer. "What has he done to protect you?" He wasn't sure it was his place at all, but perhaps the previous question hadn't been either, but either way, the Sentinel asked it with a raised brow and skepticism behind his glacier eyes.
