Ray had the best of intentions. However, as anyone who has ever had a pet bird will tell you, birds react very, very poorly to being grabbed. Croaking, Pihu began to struggle and writhe as much as possible within the shangyang's talons. Raking at any part of the other woman with the raven's own talons, she twisted and began pecking at Ray's wings.
