Flora might have been struggling with a lot of things in this world, but dishing out compliments wasn't one of them. That she had gotten down to an art and it shows as Maeve pauses in her exit, head cocking to the side to regard the girl, a smile curling on painted lips. "Well, aren't you sweet." She drawls in that carefree way that only she seems to manage. "Thank you. It's one of a kind." The Nightshade says of the dark garment, spreading the skirt slightly so the hidden flecks of silver pick up on the cool light filtering in from the window, looking like pinpricks of starlight in an inky sky.
"I don't believe I've seen you around here before and I'm not one to miss a face. Especially one so lovely." Compliments don't just come easy to you, Flora. The Nightshade regards her curiously, running jade eyes from the top of her head all the way down to her feet, trying to place why she seems so familiar. "I'm Maeve Ansel. Allow me to formally welcome you to Torchline." The queen extends her hand to the girl, having shifted her basket to her other arm so she might be free to do so.
