Remi's whiskers twitch slightly as pain warbles through him. It's nothing Ronin is doing necessarily, though every breath the Huntsman takes renews the agony in Remi's small body, as do all of his own. Were he laying on his own, though, the pain would be just as great.

I am going to leave the Greatwood to someone else. Remi decides in the moment. It had never needed him, not really.
