Even the distance they put between themselves and the Seawright household seems to unwind the tension of sourness and recent memories from his shoulders, and as he gives into his curiosity Evie smiles. Clearly the type to manage the affairs of the business, so Evie doubts she'll see much more of her from here on out, but it was enough to recognize the stark differences in the siblings - and be amused by them.
