So he does, opting for stroking along her cheek, along the smooth glittering horn, even pausing for a moment to consider what else he could do to distract her.

But he doesn’t care at the moment, focusing instead on lifting his other hand to cup her face fully, letting his calloused fingertips run across her pale cheeks, tangling in the strands of her hair, brushing along the horns that have newly sprouted. “How does that feel?” He asks softly, barely above the quiet thunder of the hot spring bubbles.
