Sweat dampened her clothes, but now that her run was over she merely walked to cool down. She hadn't planned to stop at the Eye, because the idea of taking a dip in the hot springs now that she was drenched in sweat from her workout simply made her ick. So, she took her time to stretch out and keep her body loose as she walked. As she approached the Eye of the Storm, she caught sight of someone familiar. "Hey!" She called out, waving wildly and happily towards her friend. picking up her pace, the lioness trotted over to Sohalia. A bright smile broadened all the features on her face and she stopped before the girl, panting lightly.
But when her eyes fell on her face, ice ran through Ellyra's veins and her heart jumped into her throat. "Wha--what happened?"
