We've been shown how not to live by gracious kings of old
Noah knew he was in a vulnerable position, and he didn't intend to stay longer. He hoped his kick towards Deimos would give him the opportunity to move, but it didn't. Deimos blocked, and struck. And strike Deimos did. His spear thwacked down on Noah and the muscles along the hunter's ribcage pushed the air from his lungs. The Sword was too quick for the Sentinel, and now that he was left in a moment of reaching for his own air again, he lifted a hand of forfeit.
Once it was clear their spar was done, Noah took Deimos' extended (because, of course Deimos would offer him a hand) hand and stood up. "I've got more practice to do to be a really fine warrior with this weapon. Good thing it can shoot fire, too." Noah smirked, and he could hear the jovial taunts of the Halovian soldiers from their positions of witness.
