Kallan blinked at the offered hand. For her? She feels herself preen at the invitation after doing a quick check of their surroundings, making sure it was for her.
Satisfied after seeing no one else, she hopped off the outcropping with a short series of caws. Kallan spreads her wings to take her down slowly towards the mermaid's arm, careful of pinching when she lands. Before she has settled completely, pulling her wings in, she's already preening under the attention. Her feathers fluff as she issues a series of short clicks, presumedly in response to her greeting.
It's only a few seconds more before the sparkle of her hair in the sun is just too much for Kallan to resist. She takes a few careful steps down the woman's arm, blinking twice before leaning to try and catch some strands with her beak.
