"Well, I did try and name-drop our family in order to be elected.." She admits, shrugging innocently. "Our demigod connections, and your connections in Halo...Harper the Stalwart just twisted it all around though." Stormclouds were beginning to brew in the Doubletake's eyes as she glared down into the mud. "But you're right. I don't want to lead anymore. Now I just want to make all the right connections so that I'm stronger than they are." Having her owl guild, especially a Thieves guild, was already yielding results in that regard.
