Edmund is certainly surprised at his luck, eyeing the small creatures in his net with barely concealed wonder. It's painful to see Jude's reaction, especially since they seem to be going in the same general direction. Perhaps the Ancient would be better off turning off of his current path. But this way he can keep an eye on his little brother. Keep him safe.
