But a throaty laugh of surprise, an airy sense that somehow he was impressed with the attack. He could easily take the woman, pick her up and throw her, but instead he used his magic. As if a glitch in reality, not unlike her own illusions, Noah disappeared from the space in front of Alys. The vial in his pocket dinged against the seams of fabric, but stayed intact. The demigod reappeared several paces away, behind Alys, and beckoned her towards him with another chuckle. "Better try something else." He taunted, joy glinting in his glacier eyes. |
