At first, Alys felt pretty good about her tactics. Kneeling seemed like a good idea at the time, and for a brief moment, it seemed to have worked. Then someone bumped into her - although it felt more like an accident than a purposeful tag - and she scowled, jolting to her feet and scuttling a few steps away from the person who had touched her. There she crouched, not quite kneeling (the better to move quickly if needed), but not standing up straight either, aiming still to make herself as small a target as possible.
She heard things happening around her: the sound of students stumbling about, falling over, knocking into each other, and gods only knew what else. Still, she focused on sound as her primary sense, trying to get used to being blinded. It was extremely disorienting, and as much as she loved Ru, she came up with some very creative curses towards the woman as she tried to figure out how to go about this challenge.
It occurred to her suddenly that she was supposed to be tagging others as well as trying to avoid being tagged, and she pursed her lips in thought. Again she used her illusion magic to create the sound of footsteps, but this time, she tried to make them run right in front of her, hoping that someone would hear and follow in an attempt to tag whoever made the noise. If they did, they would run right into her hands.
