Vi'dore moved on, going around the back of the house to dig in the snow and find something to munch on. Noah replaced his split log with a new one, and just as he was twisting to bring the axe up over his head, a crow swooped in. Grotesque and loud, but not as awful as the gore crows he knew from The Climb, the bird swiped towards Noah and pulled his scarf from around his neck. "Damn thing," Noah grumbled as the crow flapped away, and he set down his axe to follow it.
