Emerald eyes followed Danta's gaze to the distance, where the first haze of the swiftly-approaching downpour was lit from within and above by occasional skyfire strikes.

The mermanta, in the meantime, settled himself to watch the rain approach, testing his magic against it until the time came to return to the shore and the waters beyond.
