Bartholomew, on the other hand, was much more successful in ridding the room of bats than he was at cleaning. With his attention focused on getting the creatures out despite the barking dog, he was able to get the all through the window. Goose (Iskra) in his excitement, slid on some debris and skid across the room. The dog finally smacked against the counter along one wall, but his weight made the counter jiggle and for the various, dusty jars on top to come crashing down, littering the floor with broken glass. Now there was more cleaning to do between bat mess and dog mess.
”Oh, shit.” Noah said. ”You better go check that out. I’m going to work on resealing some of these windows.” He gestured to the windows along the east wall in the main area, though his eyebrows were lifted in some concern from the sound of shattering glass coming from Bart’s room.
