The hunt was truly underway as Melita too downed a bird. Edmund turned and aimed at a turkey that waw about to take flight. Releasing his fingers, the arrow pierced the bird's wing. Wincing at his poor shot, the Ancient started to draw another arrow. Splat however, had a different idea. His bonded had had a chance to take out the bird, now it was the Darkling's turn. The floating mass of shadow bobbed over and engulfed the bird, leaving only a single feather behind. Edmund paused for a brief moment, blinking as he processed his companion's shenanigans.
