Edmund couldn't hear Melita over the sound of terrified squawking, but he didn't need to. There was only last turkey on his metaphorical side. A simple side glance showed the status of the Honeybee's success. With a narrow of the eyes, the young Ancient refocused on his own efforts. The final bird was some distance away already but still within range. Letting go of the string, the arrow surged through the air and hit true in the bird's side. Barely.
