Telescopes work by..." And so Koa was treated to one of Everest's mini-lectures regardless of whether or not he'd signed up for one. Often Ever would pause to ask for something, "—a crescent wrench, please—" or to get Koa to hold something in place. Once or twice he even had to stop talking altogether while he concentrated. This was when they were actually bending the casing back into shape.
