Tal nodded glumly at the confirmation that Torchline had been affected, too. The place was usually too warm for his tastes, but thanks to his improved Frostbite Cuff he wasn't bothered by it as much as he used to be. But now there was a new reason to avoid the coast except when business called. He'd had enough weird plants for one year!
He let his hand drop back to his lap, fingers tapping a distracted syncopated rhythm against his thigh. The Temple's soaring ceiling made it an easier structure to be in than most, but the courier still wasn't entirely comfortable in it, and their topic of conversation was enough to make anyone feel a little anxious. Not that mentions of Ludo ever made Tal feel better, and he winced a little at the mention of Melita. "Huh... well, I guess I don't really know what it means, either, Safrin bein' th'only one worried an' all. But some extra trainin' sure wouldn't hurt anythin'." Though on reflection it could actually hurt quite a lot, in the short-term. Still, if it kept him alive in the long term, Tal figured he couldn't complain too much.
Though some complaining was probably okay.
"Ugh. Guess I'd better get back to th'inn so I can start dryin' off again," the courier decided, glancing glumly upwards as lightning flashed past the windows again. "Good seein' y'again, Koa." And he meant it. The Dragoon was absolutely easy on the eyes, even if Tal wasn't intending to do more than look - and that, awkwardly and with the occasional traitorous blush. "I'll take y'up on that the next time I'm in town!"
And with that, the courier gathered his reluctant dragon and headed out to face the storm once more.
