Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.

Noah's flowing celestial lights did not dissipate, still feeling the height of all of the rage within him. "You came to me, Sah." He said, voice still a near snarl. "You don't get to show up like that and tell me how to be a husband." Noah said simply, glacier eyes still hard on the once-wolf. Then, he pointed to his companion, "And if you don't want me to be angry, and defensive, and mean, then control him and control that." He pointed to the sky with the other hand.
If Sah was going to come in all big and bad and mighty, then he would meet the wall that would remind him he didn't have the upper hand in these situations every time. The demigod would not be bullied.
Relationships--marriages--were hard, even without the trauma wrapped up between them that Noah and Cordelia's held. "Am I not allowed mistakes? Am I so perfect that the second I do one thing that someone disapproves of they come to me with ready to attack wolves and all the strength of their magic?" "Am I such a faultless being, since I'm a fucking demigod?" Noah spat the word back towards Sah.
