Alys trailed along behind in the wake of their training, a silent shadow as Sah selected supplies. The seer was exhausted, but she couldn't bring herself to stop moving, not when so many were less fortunate than she. Not when so many were dead. And not while there was still the chance that she could help someone. So she gathered up baskets and bags and gods knew what else, toting them after Sah without complaint.
The last goal, it seemed, was to find enough baskets to hold it all. Alys handed off some of her baggage to her fellow Abandoned, then led the way to one final market stall, where she bartered for as many baskets as the pair could carry. They were a variety of shapes and sizes, but uniformity hardly mattered, not when so much had gone wrong.
As they settled into the quiet corner Sah selected outside the market, Alys began to spread their supplies in a little half-circle, making an assembly line of sorts that they could use to pack up their baskets.
