Whether it was through the Sword’s own unimpressed actions, a moment of clarity, the cold, shock, or anything else in between, he eventually settled himself on one of the shift’s many scales, shivering. ”Sorry,” he murmured, and Deimos began to cut through the water once more, snagging at the packs with teeth and letting them hang out his mouth as if they were blades of grass.
