“Frostblooms…” She repeats, before she looks over at him through the glow of the fire with a raised eyebrow and a small smile – because she would have absolutely done the same fucking thing as touched one if she encountered anything of the sort. So far, she hasn’t, until this adventure, and with it the warning is already taking root – as if the fire essentially encapsulating her wasn’t reason enough.
Thank the gods for him though, to keep her safe through this.
“I do, I brought a small glass terrarium. I think they’re supposed to be alive, so…” She’d done the best she could to get a container that locked in case she encountered a flora or a small enough fauna. But the nets in her bag seem to suggest she’d try the other approach too if it ever came down to it.
She follows him as he guides her, though, eyes scanning the smooth surface of the wind tossed caves, watching the fire reflect within them as they walk. “I haven’t.” She admits, frowning lightly. “The general consensus I did hear is that it’s bad news.” She shrugs a shoulder gently, tucking the jacket in close again after and pulls up her little scarf covering up to above her nose.
As for the creatures in the grounds she does know about, well, “some of the wine spiders have gotten awful.” A shiver races down her spine with the memory, frowning lightly.
