Taking another portion of bread and chewing thoughtfully, Lena still couldn’t get an accurate read on timelines or moments. Anyone could’ve ventured forth amidst herbs and flora, and likely at any interval too – and maybe it didn’t matter, in the grand scheme of things. It might’ve assisted in some confusion, but Caelynn would have to experience the multitudes as they came at her, however chaotic or grand. “That sounds nice,” to have had those instances.
She shook her head. “I haven’t – though they sound wonderful. Is it very far?” She didn’t know all the twists and turns, and could readily admit that. “Maybe we can go in that direction. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw some creatures on our way.” The notion about the Spineblooms though had her mind running, and she intended to make a note of it when she was able.
Portions about gods were more familiar though, and maybe more comforting in Lena’s line of work and worship. “Dygra didn’t seem to be around at the time. It was primarily between the Voice, and therefore the Core, and the Old Gods. Many of their followers clashed with one another.” A glossing over of events in leading up to the cataclysms - it hadn’t been without death and desecration – layers of portions falling to pieces.
The mention of the season gave her pause too, finishing off the portion of bread and dusting off her hands. “Oh, we’re in the middle of Longheat now.”
