Without a sign, without a warning
The geckos fell and Noah couldn't help but feel agitated. While he had anticipated the threat larger than it was, it had been almost nothing. As he looked from Maea to Deimos, with the sun closing down over them, he wanted to go home. With a heavy sigh, he made the turn to leave, his steps carrying him away from the tangled undergrowth and back towards where they had come, and hopefully away from any void creatures.Without a sign, without a warning
As Noah trudged through the dense foliage of the jungle,he kept his ears keen. The lush greenery, once a source of intrigue and adventure, now felt suffocating, its oppressive humidity clinging to his skin like a second skin and the idea of any other void creatures lurking in the darkening inkiness made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.
He wasn't sure how Maea or Deimos felt, but he didn't want to be here any more. Though he tried to keep pace with them, there was a haste in his steps.
Noah starts going back because he wants to go home.
